  Dr Riemenschneide arrived late to the appointment. He was cold and unsympathetic. Did not smile once. Performed an exam on me and I felt sick and dizzy. I laid down and he stormed out of the room and then yelled to everyone at the front desk "he is passing out on me!" Probably people also heard in the waiting area. If that was not bad enough, he never returned to the room to finish the appointment. His kind wife, who is also is nurse and practice manager, gave me the information I needed. I appreciate that, but it was not enough. There was no way I was going to let someone like that operate on me so I cancelled the procedure. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for a provider who cares about their patients and not just their own needs!

  I went in for a Vasectomy and don't get me wrong, at first the doctor is a little cold. He doesn't really talk too much or care for small chat, however after another appointment, he warms up. This is a very straight forward doctor. He gives you the facts, doesn't sugar coat anything, and gets straight to the point. I enjoyed the info he shared. I am overweight, a lot, and he raised his concerns about it and checked everything first to make sure that I could have it done. Day of the vasectomy, he was great. Walked in, asked how I was feeling, asked if I was ready and started. Through the procedure, he asked if I was okay and/or if anything hurt (I am not a doctor/surgery person). It took maybe 30 mins. He went over everything with me for post-op and I have to go back 30 and 60 days to verify I am sterile. This doctor is great with the information, facts, and what you need to do to prep for the surgery along with what needs to be done after. I recommend this doctor for your vasectomy. I was a little worried since the other reviews I have seen... but he was great. Nurses were also fantastic.
