  As a patient for over five years, my whole family has developed a rapport and a relationship with Dr. Frank. Lucky for me I haven't had to go to the doctor in over a year and a half. Today I go to make a Dr appt and was advised that I owe a balance of $150.00 and I am not able to make an appt until balance is paid in full. I was unaware of balance because they inadvertently updated my profile with my ex husbands address. I provided a new insurance card upon my last visit, like I am required every visit. They used old insurance information and my appt was not covered during that time. Another fact I was unaware of. I offered to make payment arrangements since I was advised that due to the age, my insurance that I had during that time would deny the claim or payment to them. I needed an apt in the next week and instead billing kept wanting to set me out for an apt after I paid the balance in full. I was denied as a patient with a doctor that has been with me throughout all my medical issues due to having a balance of $150.00. Now I have to find a new doctor for myself and my whole family. Its really a shame that money is the guidance for all medical offices and the patients are the ones who suffer. I pay over $3000 a year for insurance and because of a $150 debt due to the office, I am being turned down for a doctors appointment. I am also reporting this to the Ohio Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. Its very bad practice for someone with my medical history to be turned down for a dr appt. I have diabetes and I have neuropathy associated with this disease. I now have to start all over again..
